EA and SteelSeries Announce Real Racing 3 Headphones

Real Racing 3 is a gorgeous mobile game, despite some nagging issues with its freemium model. But if you're a real fan of the series, Electronic Arts and SteelSeries are hoping you might also want a pair of matching headphones. The partnership between the game publishing giant and the peripheral maker has produced the Real Racing 3 headset.

The sound isolating headphones are essentially SteelSeries' Flux headphones, but with a Real Racing logo printed on the sides of the cans. Also, they are blindingly white; take them into a snow storm at your own peril. An interesting feature of the Flux -- and by consequence, Real Racing -- headphones are dual jacks, allowing input on either ear cup, or even to daisy-chain the audio to another set of headphones.

The Real Racing 3 headphones are available now, directly from SteelSeries for $99. If white isn't your thing, SteelSeries sells the Flux in a number of colors, granted without a Real Racing 3 logo on the side.
