It's no surprise that wherever Sam Raimi goes, Evil Dead questions are sure to follow. However, while at a Meet the Filmmakers event for his upcoming Oz: The Great and the Powerful, Raimi dropped a pretty huge bombshell (from Disney's official transcript):
"I would love to make Evil Dead 4. My brother and I plan to work on the script this summer."
The brother in question is likely Ivan Raimi, who collaborated with Sam on projects like Drag Me to Hell, Army of Darkness and Darkman. Of course, with Fede Alvarez's Evil Dead reboot coming out in April, this would mean two ongoing series of the same franchise, which is, like... crazy, right?
As we await further details, speculation has already begun among fans. Could this mark the triumphant return of Bruce Campbell's Ashley "Ash" Williams? Let us know what you think in the comments!
